Extravagant Ones (Twos and Threes):
Check out the attached photos, gang, taken just an hour ago of our measuring stick/logs Log-O-Meter with the runoff pace along Rock Creek once again going off our flow chart graph and sizzling at 5,270 cfs—yes, a(nother) record-topping flow. By way of comparison, in our previous “high water year”, 2009, on this June 9th Rock Creek was flowing at 2,050 cfs…we are smokin’ at one hundred fifty percent of the previous all-time high, and it is still raining here!!
Yes, I now write to you from E-11’s Headquarters and, having met immediately upon my arrival with our Double Up Outfitter, John “The Great But Propaneless” Gould, we have worked our a tentative fishing plan for Groups One and Two which I will share with you as to be finalized in tomorrow’s morning.
In the interim, enjoy the attached pics and, as teaser, Group Oners: visualize getting to fish the magnificent Missouri River (as we fished it so well in 2008!!
Best to all from the scene of it all,
Rock Creek Ron
