As shown above, Beach Transportation courtesy of (now tattooed) Commander Cliff was the mode of transportation for Da Twos today, who journeyed to the Mo and, by the end of the day, had landed 8 [count ‘em] 20”+ wild trout, all but one of which were rainbows. The day saw the Mighty Mo running at twice the volume as it was for Da Ones—an increase from 10,500 cfs to over 21,000cfs—a near record Mo flow!
Tom “Sockeye” Thornhill signed into the Twenty Inch Club board along with Tim “Squawfish” Rodgers and his daughter Alia “Snowflake” and child sitter Gisela “Yella” the latter two being awarded honorary yellow hats for their fishing prowess but giving way to Ralph “Red Baron” McLeran’s [get this] three 20”+ fish, the larger 22” of which earned him the Yellow Hat Award of the day, with Rock Creek Ron demurring his own 22” bow to bestow the honors, RCR also catching (and releasing) a(nother) 20 ½ Mobow (see separate posting).
All of the Twos fished well in record high flows on the Mo and are now safely headed for their bunks with visions of Twenty Inchers safely ensconced in their mental hard drives!
Best to all from the fast and furious scene of it all,
RCR
p.s. Threes: we will make the call as to where you will be fishing on Wednesday—right now it is 50/50 between the Mo and The Root.
